It's been a fun and "sweet" road to get to where I am today! Ten years ago I started selling handmade jewelry at farmer's markets in Scottsdale, Arizona. During the long, hot days at the markets, I brought baked goods and yummy treats for the other merchants to enjoy and they kept insisting I bake it to sell. Before I knew it, I was setting up a bakery booth in addition to my jewelry booth and immediately sold out of the 100 packages of cookies and cakes I brought. I learned my lesson, baked more batches and soon, I was selling more than 1,300 packages over the course of a weekend! A couple of Scottsdale delis got wind of my mandelbrot creation and shortly thereafter, my goods were being sold at Goldman's Deli and New York Bagel and Bialy.

I recently packed up my spatulas and relocated to California. I am excited and proud to announce that I will be setting up a regular, weekly shop at the Calabasas Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings. Living in California is a dream come true; I enjoy basking in the sun with my dog, Baubles, and cooking for my 3 sons. My husband, Bruce, is such a great help when it comes to preparing and setting up my shop. I am so grateful to have his support in recognizing my passion in the kitchen. Then again, I pay him with leftover crumbs!
